About Me
Hi! I’m Kayli!
Mahjong found me the way the best things do — unexpectedly, on a family vacation, with my sister setting up the tiles and all of us gathered around a table with nowhere else to be.
I didn't know it then, but that game changed something. The click of the tiles. The friendly arguments over rules. The way everyone stayed at that table long after we should have called it a night. Mahjong had a way of making time feel slower and the people around you feel closer.
I started Mahj with Kayli because I want to make this game feel accessible to everyone. For strangers to pull up chairs together and leave as friends. For the laughter and connection that happens around a Mahjong table.
My lessons are for you. No confusing jargon. No assumption that you already know the basics. Just the game, broken down with care, so you can pull up a chair and finally be part of it.
Because the table is better when everyone's playing.
